IEW speaker explores relationship between literature, conflict

Israeli novelist, Meir Shalev, gave a lecture at the Global Institute for Sustainability on Tuesday. Nov. 18, as a highlight of International Education Week at ASU. The presentation, sponsored by Jewish Studies, was titled, “The Role of Literature in the Context of Conflict.”
Shalev began his lecture with a disclaimer: “The Israeli, Palestinian conflict will not be solved today.”
