Fall 2009 Study Abroad Fair
Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., ASU Memorial Union, second floor.
Increase your sphere of influence with study abroad! Students interested in studying abroad should plan to attend the ASU Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 on the second floor of the Memorial Union. Information about more than 250 programs in 60 countries will be available.
Program coordinators and providers offer detailed information about study abroad opportunities, along with students who have participated in past programs and current international exchange students who will be on hand to answer question. Representatives of the Student Financial Assistance Office will discuss funding opportunities and provide information about Study Abroad Office scholarships. The ASU U.S. Passport Acceptance Office will have an area set up to hand out and accept passport applications and take passport photos for a fee.
The fall fair also is expected to feature live music and other performances, free “virtual visit” souvenir photos, a prize drawing, Study Abroad 101 info sessions and much more.
February’s Study Abroad Fair was the largest ever held at ASU, with more than two dozen ASU departments and academic units participating and at least 1,000 students attending the event. Anyone unable to attend the fall fair but who’d like to find out more about study abroad opportunities should visit the ASU Study Abroad Office in Suite 150 of Tempe Center (southeast corner of Mill & University and behind Coor Hall), on the Tempe Campus.
