Homecoming Block Party a blockbuster event!

ASU's Homecoming Block Party, held 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, was a huge success. In the photo on the left, President Michael Crow visited the Global Engagement booth on the Old Main lawn and posed with Wai Mei Chan and Yixin Zhao, both exchange students from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
In the photo on the right, global engagement staffers Gina Gillies, Michael Girsch and D.D. Kullman took a break from handing out food and beverages to pose for a photo opp.
A popular stop for visitors, the Global Engagement booth featured giveaways that included unique water bottle clips (affixed to chilled bottles of water) that attached via a carabiner to belt loops, backpacks and purses. Other giveaways included popcorn, fun door hangers and information about ASU's global engagement efforts.
Anthony (Bud) Rock, vice president for global engagement and Dawn Kallestad, director of the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement were on hand to greet guests, along with several of the global engagement staffers.
