Arrival Information

F-1/J-1 degree-seeking students
- Plan to arrive at ASU at least two weeks or no later than one week before classes begin according to the information on the SEVIS I-20/DS-2019. This will give you time to get settled in your housing and complete administrative processes involved to start your academic experience at ASU.
- For information about airport pick-up and list of student organizations that offer help to Tempe, Polytechnic and Downtown Campus new comers visit International Student Organizations.
- ASU hosts Welcome events the week before classes begin which provide opportunities for new students to get information on various ASU resources available to you to enrich your ASU Sundevil experience.
- Tempe, Polytechnic, West and Downtown Phoenix campus students must report to the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) as soon as you arrive on campus with your immigration documents for the mandatory SEVIS check-in and orientation. Students will go through peer orientation and will be guided through the process of registration and other essential matters to start their academic experience.
