Resources for International Students
The new International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO) embraces the functions and operations of the former International Student Office (ISO). It is one of the primary points of contact with the university for international students attending ASU. Our staff helps students maintain compliance with visa regulations and provides a range of programming and advising to foster success and enrich each student's educational experience here. Programs and services include:
Immigration matters
- SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) reporting compliance
- Visa and document administration required for F-1 and J-1 degree-seeking students and their dependents
- SEVIS Information sessions
- Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Workshops
Student success and community programming
- Fall and Spring New Student Orientation
- International Friends Program
- Sun Devil Experience
- World Festival
Consultation
- University administrative policies and procedures for international students
- Liaison with administrative and academic units, sponsors and governmental agencies
- Information, referral, and resource center
Hours and Location
International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO)
The International Student Office (ISO) has moved from its former location in the Student Services Building and become part of the new International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO) in the Center for Global Education Services. The new location is:
Tempe Center, Suite 150
951 S. Mill Ave. (near the corner of E. 10th Street and Mill Avenue, next to Sacks)
Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
